Parent Information

The Parramatta High School Parents & Citizens meet regularly and are a powerful voice in school governance.

They have an opportunity to be represented on a variety of committees including enrolment, merit selection, Annual School Report, uniform and school promotions.

The Parents & Citizens Association meets once per term.

Meetings take place at 6pm on the fifth Wednesday of each term.

A fortnightly newsletter, Parramatters, published on this website, informs parents about school activities and events.

Parents are welcome to contact the school to discuss their child's progress and attend events such as the:

· Year 7 Meet the Teacher

· Selective Classes Information Night

· NAPLAN Results Night

· Parent Teacher Night

· Year 10 Subject Selection Evening

Student achievement is regularly celebrated on weekly school assemblies and at special events such as the:

· Academic Recognition Ceremony

· NAPLAN Results Night

· Awards Presentation Night

Parents of enrolling Year 7 students receive important information at the Year 7 Orientation Day and Selective Classes Information Evening.

The school hosts an Open Day in March of each year.

All members of the Parramatta High School community are invited to attend the next meeting of Parents and Citizens on 30 July 2014 at 6pm to discuss uniform changes.
